Neighborhood Spotlight Tour
ALLENTOWN
Heavy Metal meets Vegan. Not your mother's food tour.
Allentown, a historic Pittsburgh community high above the South Side Flats, is one of the city's hottest emerging neighborhoods. Settled in the early 19th century by German immigrants, it has enjoyed prosperity and survived hard times.
This edgy neighborhood has a coffee shop and vegan restaurant dedicated to heavy metal and punk rock, a friendly neighborhood diner that houses a caterer and deli, Carribean food and a beloved local pizza joint. We also visit innovative start-up businesses and learn about the unique street art along the avenue.
Allentown is a neighborhood in transition and at 'Burgh Bits and Bites, we love showing you what's next in Pittsburgh. Be prepared for this funky, heavy metal, vegan experience...this is not your mother's food tour! *Not all tastings are vegan
